2005 Neon SRT4 The car just got a thorough check up in 4/2019. It got all new belts. The power steering pump was replaced. The car is running very nicely. (lightly modded) Mods: Dual 3" Thermal Exhaust; Snorkel cold air intake; DiabloSport hand held omdb computer for tuning and codes; Alpine amp plus replacement speakers; led lighting - turn signals and back up lights (no hyper-flashing); heavy duty strut brace (trunk), and MOPAR strut brace (front); Wilwood brakes (front), other items listed below. The trunk spoiler/wing is in storage, and its easy to reaffix. The car was lowered about 3/4" which is the reason for the damaged front bumper fascia, its not too low, but its low enough that it has taken a beating over many years. This sale includes a used fascia (silver color) in better condition; but which was never painted or installed. The tires are slightly larger than stock. The car was "set up" (tires, brakes, sway bars, struts) by Jim Pierce, Jim Pierce Racing in Torrance, CA. It was never built out as a race car, and has not been raced or hammered on. The tires have fewer than six thousand miles on them. All maintenance is up to date. I tried to use synthetic for yearly oil and filter changes. The a/c blows cold. The front (Wilwood) brakes, rear struts (adjustable), and tires were replaced about a year ago. As for the stereo, the so-called head unit for the stereo is original, Best Buy just did a swap out of speakers and an upgraded amp. (I have receipts.) The vinyl dash is cracked and is covered by a carpet style dash cover. The five speed works and the shifting is pretty snappy and happy. There is a small dent in the front driver side fender panel. Ask for close ups. There are other smaller scratches and dings, consistent with age. More pictures available. The side fenders, hood and front fascia have been clear plastic coated (I call it saran wrapped.) which is in good shape, but is not perfect. The front bumper in the picture is from an attempt to remove the plastic wrap. The interior is in very good condition. The dials on the dash have a slight brownish something, but its not so bad. Additional pictures available. This is a really well-received car. People recognize it. Its like a cult classic. Or something like that. I have owned this prime example for over ten years, and spent some money on mods and recent maintenance. I am happy to take any number of pictures for you or to add to the listing. No shipping. bought this car for a commuter for job put new snow tires on it had brakes done all the way around new plugs and wires and battery and the oil and tranny fluid changed ..... 3 weeks later tranny went had it replaced with an ETE rebuild with 3 year warranty still has 2 years left and at the same time i had the timing belt and water pump done cause while they were in there it seamed like a good idea since they sugest it around 80000 miles and 3 weeks later a car slammed into it while it was parked.... I was going to find a parts car and fix it myself figured the parts to be somewhere around 700.00 or was looking for a whole parts car with bad tranny or motor or smashed in back.. but have since taking on other projects and just cant find the time i have around 5000.00 into this car the tranny alone was 1800.00 the motor only has 81000 miles and just had the timing belt and water pump done .. this would be a great car for someone that has the time to fix it or someone looking for a parts car for there neon make me an offer i cant refuse perfer not to part out would like to sell as a whole
